• Our dear Sis. Bonnie Ko has departed to her heavenly home on Friday, April 9th thanking for your prayers. From days of Izumi Christian Fellowship, she has played a vital part as she had a burden for a church to serve Japanese speaking immigrants in Houston. We are especially grateful for her serving as a liaison between our congregation and our landlord, Formosan Presbyterian Church. Because of her love for the Lord and support, we were able to reopen in difficult years while there was no pastor. Additionally, many lives have come to know the Lord because of her work. Our congregation is forever indebt with this lady. Please remember to pray for family as the Lord would fill them with His peace and comfort.
• The memorial service for Sis Bonnie Ko was held on Saturday, April 24th from 10am at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077). The visitation will be from 9am prior to the service. Please click here for the obituary for an updated info.

• 5月26日に、午後7時半からZoomで定例会を行いました。この会で、新しいTrusteesの承認と教会のBylawの最終承認を6月のBusiness Meetingで行う事が決定いたしました。

• 親愛なる、Bonnie Ko姉妹は、4月9日（金）に皆様の祈りに感謝しつつ、天国に凱旋されました。彼女は、私達の前身である、Izumi Bible Fellowshipの時代から約25年間、Houstonの地に日本語での教会をと重荷をもって活躍してくださいました。特に、私達と貸主である台湾教会との間に入って下さる大事な役を担ってくださり、多大な貢献をしてくださいました。彼女の主への愛と献身的な働きによって、困難な時代も乗り越えてくることができました。また、そのおかげで多くの方々が主へと導かれた事は、本当に感謝です。姉妹の尊い働きに心から敬意と感謝をささげます。ご遺族の上に主の平安と慰めがありますように、お祈り下さい。

Weekday Online Small Groups (Access to Zoom as the same way as Sunday)

• Prayer group: every Wednesday at 4:30pm
• Bible study group: 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday at 7:00pm (next one is Wednesday, April 7th)
• Praise & Prayer hour: every Friday at 7:00pm

• We still have several families who had water damage from the winter storm in our congregation. Please continue to pray for them.
• Thank you for giving to support the Nance family’s missionary work. We are grateful for those who have given the total of $3000 as a church while additional was given by some of our congregants individually. Let’s continue to pray as they advance the Kingdom.
• Gatherings on April 4th would be outdoor & remote only
  • You would not need to make a reservation.
  • Anyone can join
  • You are welcome to bring your own lawn chair. We will prepare social-distancing seating for you to use.
  • You may also join our service from your own vehicle.
• We’ll have a time of communion at the end of gatherings, today. The church has prepared individually packaged ones. If you are attending remotely, please prepare.
• Please remember to pray for Sis. Bonnie Ko who is requesting to pray as a church. She has some health concerns that doctors have not been able to diagnose properly. With the advancement of her age, she has been feeling weak for sometime. Please believe with us as the Lord strengthen and reach out to her.
• We encourage you to value relationships with each other. Please call, write, text or whatever the way you can do to stay connected especially among your small groups. If you need to have an online/virtual meetings for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study, please feel free to let pastor know. Our video calling system is available for you to use as well.
