Thank you for 23 people who went out to Japan Festival, this past Sunday to plant the Word of God to people. We were able to pass out some 2000 bookmarks, 40+ Bibles and over 200 positive contacts. Please continue to pray as the Lord will use seeds that were planted.
We are giving away new tshirts for $10 each. If you want one, please let us know. Sizes and numbers are limited.
We’ll have a time of prayer and praise on this Saturday, 20th at 11pm. It’ll be held at the clubhouse of the pastor’s residence: 2023 Gentryside Drive, Houston, TX (near the churc)
On Monday, May 29th, pastor will be hosting a memorial day get together at 1pm. It’ll be held at the clubhouse of the pastor’s residence. It’s a come-and-go as you please style. We’ll have some snacks and games.

Things to Remember
While we’ll have water and some ice etc, please take care of yourself.
Tips on dealing with heat:
Stay hydrated
Wear a cap
Use a fan to keep yourself cool
Sun screen
Stay out of the direct sunlight (Use shades, etc)
We’ll have tshirts available at the festival but you are not required to wear them. Please wear what you’d feel comfortable but Christian-appropriate.
If you need to leave early, please do not hesitate.

Free parking are around the park. However, please note that the near-by zoo will open at 9am, and expect to fill up the free parking quickly around 9am. If you are planning to arrive later, please plan. The train station is nearby and conveniently located.

If you have any items that you’d like to donate as a prize for the drawing, please let Pastor Nishi know. Please make sure items are light, small and not breakable. Please also note that once we finished the festival, we may dispose these items.
We are taking an order for the new church tshirts. Every Japan Festival volunteer will receive one for free but not required to wear. If anyone who can’t volunteer or would want more than one, we are asking for the donation of $10 to cover the cost. If you would prefer the size such as 2XL, 3XL, please let us know in advance. The last day to order is Monday, April 24th.
We have church bookmarks ready to put ribbons on. If you can help, please pick them up, today.
