  • While we can not force you, we are continuing to ask you to wear either a mask or some type of a face cover to consider others for a time being upon the proposal of the church bi-monthly meeting. For people who lead worship and preach, we have a sneeze guard.

  • From January, our Wednesday night Bible Study will be every week except the night of a bi-monthly meeting. We’ll do the Bible survey from Genesis to Revelation.
  • This Sunday, May 14th, we’ll have a mother’s day gathering at 1:30pm (English-Japanese unity gathering)
    • We’ll have a meal and fellowship in the educational buidling: Game room
    • There will be a gift from a church for all mothers
  • Thank you for 23 people who went out to Japan Festival, this past Sunday to plant the Word of God to people. We were able to pass out some 2000 bookmarks, 40+ Bibles and over 200 positive contacts. Please continue to pray as the Lord will use seeds that were planted.
  • We are giving away new tshirts for $10 each. If you want one, please let us know. Sizes and numbers are limited.
  • We’ll have a time of prayer and praise on this Saturday, 20th at 11pm. It’ll be held at the clubhouse of the pastor’s residence: 2023 Gentryside Drive, Houston, TX (near the churc)
  • On Monday, May 29th, pastor will be hosting a memorial day get together at 1pm. It’ll be held at the clubhouse of the pastor’s residence. It’s a come-and-go as you please style. We’ll have some snacks and games.

  • 今週から火曜日のバイブル・スタディーを再開いたします。午後7時半からZoomでおこなっており、ルカによる福音書を学んでいます。
  • 本日、5月14日（日）は、母の日で、1時半から日・英合同礼拝をおこないます
    • 12時ごろから、お交わり・お食事の時を教育館・Game Room
    • お母さま方には、教会からプレゼントがございます
  • 先週のJapan Festivalにて23名の兄弟姉妹が御言葉の種まき・アウトリーチ・伝道に参加して下さり心から感謝いたします。2000枚程の御言葉のしおりが配られ、40冊以上の聖書の配布、又200名以上の方々とコンタクト出来た事を心から感謝いたします。続けて、主が蒔かれた種を用いられるようにお祈り下さい。
  • 新しいTシャツを＄10でおわけしております。サイズ・数量に限りがございますので、欲しい方々はお申し出ください。
  • 5月の賛美と祈りの時は、20日、午前11時から行います。場所は、牧師宅・Club House 2023 Gentryside Drive Houston, TX（教会の近くです）
  • 5月29日に、牧師主催のMemorial Dayパーティーを午後1時から、牧師宅・Club Houseで行います。出入り自由ですので、お気軽にお越しください。お菓子とゲームを用意しております。

Schedule

  • Saturday
    • 8am >> setup begins
    • 10:30am >> setup ends
    • 11am >> event begins
    • 12pm >> opening ceremony
    • 6pm >> event ends
  • Sunday
    • 9:30am >> Outdoor worship
    • 11am >> event begins
    • 5:30pm >> cleaning begins
    • 6pm >> After party @ Fia’s (1200 Binz St #130, Houston, TX 77004) 10 minutes walk

Activities

  • Planting the Word (bookmark, bibles, daily bread)
  • Free drawing
  • Prayer station
  • Children’s area (coloring, origami)

Things to Remember

  • While we’ll have water and some ice etc, please take care of yourself.
  • Tips on dealing with heat:
    • Stay hydrated
    • Wear a cap
    • Use a fan to keep yourself cool
    • Sun screen
    • Stay out of the direct sunlight (Use shades, etc)
  • We’ll have tshirts available at the festival but you are not required to wear them. Please wear what you’d feel comfortable but Christian-appropriate.
  • If you need to leave early, please do not hesitate.
  • We are expecting a very little rain that would not affect the event. However, if you have any question, please feel free to contact Pastor Nishi at 409.673.1007 or AJ at 443.527.5915
  • Free parking are around the park. However, please note that the near-by zoo will open at 9am, and expect to fill up the free parking quickly around 9am. If you are planning to arrive later, please plan. The train station is nearby and conveniently located.

  • 氷や水等がありますが、個人的にお気をつけください。

    • うちわ等で涼しくする
    • 日焼け止め
    • 直射日光を避ける（日陰になるところがあります）
  • Tshirtsは、会場で準備しておりますが、着るのは必須ではございません。各々クリスチャンとして適切な服装でお越しください。
  • 小雨が降る予定です。イベントに影響しないと思われますが、状況を把握する必要がありましたら、西牧師・409.673.1007か、AJ兄弟・443.527.5915までご連絡ください。
  • 無料駐車場が公園の周りにありますが、動物園が9時ごろに開園します。午前9時ごろから駐車場はすぐに埋まり始めます。あとから来られる予定の方々は、ご計画ください。なお、電車の駅が近くにあるので、ご利用できます。
